DJ Elli-chan.

A week into school, and already I have my own 10-minute radio segment during the lunch period! Here I am with some of the Broadcasting Club students right after my show, which I've named, "GAIJINGLES" ("Gaijin" is "foreigner" in Japanese, and, well, you know what "jingles" is in English. It's a cute little pun that probably only I understand, but that's par for the course, I suppose). For my first show, the theme was English-songs-with-Japanese-words-and-content, so naturally I chose to play "Mr. Roboto" by Styx (1983) and "Harajuku Girls" by Gwen Stefani (2004). Each week I will pick out a new theme.
